How can we respond to the brokenness of sin redemptively and with a view to restoration? Our panel will seek to answer these and other questions.

11:15 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. WHILE IT IS DAY...UNITE - Unity is an elusive goal among such varied expressions of the Church. Yet it was our Lord’s prayer that his followers “may all be one” – united (John 17: 21). The Book of Acts records again and again that the early believers were of “one accord” (e.g., Acts 4:32). They were united. With all the differences and diversity in the Church, how can we move closer to that ideal? Our panel will pursue solutions to this and other questions.

1:15 - 2:15 p.m. WHILE IT IS DAY...ENGAGE - Engagement is the natural result of Christ-followers who are functioning as “salt” and “light” (Matt. 5:13-16). Thanks to Holy Spirit entrepreneurship, there are as many expressions of engagement as there are believers and local bodies of Christ. What does engagement look like in your context and community? What are some practical ways your church can make a positive difference? Our panel will trace out some ideas in answer to this and other questions.
  • Todd Starnes*, Syndicated Columnist, FOX News Contributor; Host, The Todd Starnes Show, Moderator
  • David and Jason Benham*, Founders, The Benham Companies
  • Michele Bachmann*, Former Representative (R-Minn.), U.S. House of Representatives
  • Ryan Bomberger*, Founder, The Radiance Foundation
2:15 - 3:00 p.m.

SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY IN CRISIS - Service is the first response to need. Often it is the gateway to sharing the Gospel. Jesus said he “came not to be served, but to serve…” (Matt. 20:28). When disaster strikes, floodwaters rise, fires ravage, God’s people must step in and serve as the hands and heart of Christ. Our panel will explore ways they rolled up their sleeves and sought to help in times of great crisis and answer questions.

  • Tony Perkins*, President, Family Research Council, Moderator
  • Pastor Garrett Booth*, Grace Church, Houston, Texas
  • Pastor Mark Stermer*, The Church International, St. Amant, La.

SUPPORTING YOUR SPOUSE WHEN THEY STAND FOR TRUTH - Ministry is a team sport and ministry spouses are the Most Valuable Players. Standing up for Jesus and standing firmly on the Word of God not only requires great faith and courage, but unwavering support. Now, more than ever, we face an assault on everything we hold dear. As pastors and ministry leaders rise up to proclaim the Gospel and its practical implications for how to live it out in society, the encouraging support of their spouses are critical to this mission. Often overlooked, undervalued, and rarely rewarded is this vital contribution. In this breakout for ministry spouses, you will be strengthened, inspired, and equipped to further God's purpose of standing by your ministry mates while they stand for truth.
